Any benefits using USB-C instead of DP?

Hi,

 

I just got a monitor with USB C and I already have a GPU with USB C output.

 

Any benefits using USB C instead of DP? Beside data transfer.

 

Quality? Frames? Max output?

 

I have 3440x1440 165hz monitor.

Nope same thing different cable.
