Army867

It said my drive had an error and it was going to scan for it, I let it run for a few hours and when I came back this popped up, what do I do?

Fair enough.

Do you need any data on this drive?

I think something "free" to try would be to reinstall Windows from scratch.

You'll need a USB stick and another working computer to create the stick from. Done this before?

Wait can’t I just go into “troubleshooting” and just reinstall it?

Problem is, if the data is mashed, the installation data stored there will be too.

It's always best to install from a fresh image.

Now, there is a strong possibility that this drive is dying. You'd get more clues to this if this fresh windows installation fails or has issues quite quickly.

Also if you have more than one drive make sure to have only the one drive you plan on using to install windows as sometimes windows will install a critical file on a different drive and if your using an SSD and a hdd for storage it will slow down performance if it does that
