5600x vs 5600g, which is more worth it?

From the stores near me, the 5600x and 5600g is very similarly priced, with a difference of 15USD.
Which should I go for?

Need an integrated gpu? Get the 5600g. Want pcie 4.0 on a 500 series board and a tiny bit fast cpu? Get the 5600x.

As said by others, if you already have a dedicated graphics card, the 5600x is the clear choice. If you don't have a graphics card or won't get one, the 5600g is a good choice. The 5600g is slightly slower than the 5600x but if you're never going to get a graphics card, or maybe one months/years later, the 5600g will prove its value.

Drawbacks when using 5600G:

- only 8x pcie 3.0 supported for addin card (gpu).

- half L3 cache

The performance is on par with 3600x.

But in return is you can get a RX550 equivalent GPU for $15 less, and incase your gpu dead, you can use it as a backup.

You get 24 PCIe lanes on the 5600G, so you get the full x16 going to the primary slot. They are only 3.0 lanes, but you aren't limited to x8.

Biggest difference is as stated, PCIE3 and halved L3 cache (this one is big)

Simply don't get a 5600G if you have a dedicated GPU.
