rate/help improve my new build

Gunni3

Budget (including currency): ~2000€ (currently 2194,38€ on alternate.de (including thermal paste))

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming in general, also big emphasis on noise

Other details:

My Shopping Cart as of right now:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

Board: ASRock x570 PG VELOCITA

RAM: G.Skill DIMM 32GB DDR4-4600 Kit (2x16GB)

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1650 SC ULTRA GAMING

Case: Fractal Design Define 7 Compact Solid

PSU: Seasonic PRIME TX-850

SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

CPU-Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock 4

Display: Samsung Odyssey G5 C32G54TQWR

(maybe some case coolers aswell)

Disclaimer:

  • I believe that my PSU is a little oversized and my GPU will probably be the bottleneck. That's because I plan on upgrading my GPU in a year or two when the prices become reasonable (hopefully...).
  • I definitely want to put it together myself (will be my 4th/5th build). However, I never installed water cooling and I still shy away from it (also i can't put a radiator on top).

Things I am looking for / not sure about:

  • Case:
    • I have a couple restrictions when it comes to the case:
      • I don't want side windows/RGB
      • I will not install fans on top (I will put my feet there 🙂 )
      • It should be a MidTower, + I have width/depth restrictions: 23cm (9") width / 47cm (18.5") depth
    • I believe I'll have to install my PSU with the fan on top because the bottom case grill(?) will not align properly
  • Board:
    • integrated Wifi would be prefereable
  • RAM:
    • 32GB enough or should i upgrade to 64?

Of course, any other recommendations are welcome aswell.

32GB RAM is enough or overkill for gaming.

I have an ASUS G14 2021 with Manjaro KDE and I am a professional Linux NoOB and also pretty bad at General Computing.

X570 is uneccesary here, b550 is better so no fan + cheaper, go for a b550 gaming edge wifi or gaming carbon wifi

4600 is not gonna work out of the box so you will have to tune it, just get a 3600 cl16 kit like ballistix

Wayyyyy underpowered gpu, atleast rtx 3060ti with this budget

Titantium psu is a massive waste of money, just get a decent psu like corsari rm(x), msi mpg, or revoluion df, if they are too loud then just open em up and swap in a be quiet fan (pref before you ever plug the psu into the wall so less risk of shock but this is at your own risk alr)

970 evo is an overpriced pos, you can get a decent gen4 ssd at that price like z440, rocket 4.0, mp600 core, etc. Though if you dont think you need gen4 then go for a cheap gen3 like the kingston a2000

You may wish to upgrade the cooler to a drp4 or nhd15, but if you dont think you need that much cooling then no need

Your build looks fine in my opinion. I agree with your reasonings.
Since you want a quite system: I'm not familiar with the performance of the Dark Rock 4 with the 5800X. There are "better" coolers regarding noise and performance, but they'll cost more..

Does the gen even matter?

How about face the top fans for an intake?

You might be able to get em for cheap though if you cant theres the 6600xt or 6700(xt)

Gen4 > gen3 in terms of speed, and the 970 evo is an overpriced pos that has similar pricing to a cheap gen4 ssd which will pretty much obliterate it so id say it is a completely worthless ssd choice unless you find one for cheap

Amongus is an op state with graphics cards available I see.

So what u sayin is that sometimes the speed of ssd is pointless because the bandwidth is limited?
