Hi everyone!

I recently got a new pc with a brand new rtx 3070 Rog strix white edition. Mine had a problem that made it stop sending image after a few minutes of gaming. I sent it back and forth to the company I bought it from, and after 4 months and having to come and show them the problem myself, they finally decided to talk to the warrenty, something I could have done 4 months ago. But since they are so stupid, they scratched the card's connector and Asus won't take it. Therefore, they gave me the option to take a MSI ventus x3 3070 ti. Should I fight over getting something else or just take this card?

Thanks in advanced!

Unless I am missing something, I would take the faster card and talk shit about Asus on the forums whenever you can 😉

Yeah the only good thing about Asus is their name (from when they made quality stuff and had decent customer service).
But thats all in the past. Sorry you had to feel how bad they have become.

3070ti FTW. Upgrade for free, nice store. Reasonable solution for their mistake...

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

This is why I don't support asus, only reason I have their B560 board is it came in the pre built I bought and I haven't swapped it out yet. Their warranty service is shit. I'd get the msi 3070ti, sell it brand new unopened and buy an evga card so you get a good warranty in case you ever need it. F Asus

Is warranty service being bad specifically for their GPU and mobo? I got an ROG monitor that is great, and the one before that was an Asus too. But then I haven't had to deal with defects and testing their warranties...

Only matters in country's where warranty's are done by the manufacturer.
Most of Europe and other developed countries hold the seller responsible for warranty.

No the seller is not responsible for a warranty they did not issue. Why would a seller be responsible for something they did not produce or make? That doesn't make sense.

They are only responsible to give you a full refund or replace the faulty product in the first 14 days after purchase. After that it isn't the sellers problem anymore.

Yes you can get an RMA or warranty process going through the seller that sold it to you but they are not responsible for the warranty. The only thing they are going to do is send your defective product to the manufacturer, who then has to repair or replace the faulty product and only if the warranty applies to whatever is wrong with your product.

But to do that you do not have to go to the seller who sold it to you. You can also go to any other shop that is a partner of that brand or get in contact with the brand and send it to them directly, for the exact same service.
