APU to get you through the crisis, plus the CPU attached to it ain't half bad. It should do most modern games at low to medium 1080p for now, older games and minecraft should run fine at what you're trying to run it at already. 8 cores so you can have a stream running even without hardware encoding, and plus they come in handy for final renders.

As for a GPU once the crisis is over, it's setup so you can throw a 3080 in there, even a 3080Ti if you find one on sale.

Also, while you can use the stock cooler (and I did for that parts list) it might be a good idea to put an aftermarket one on there. The Hyper 212 is a pretty good one and the Sythe Fuma 2 is even better if you wanna spend that much. You can also swap the RAM to something RGB and 32GB if you need it, but make sure you get 3600MHz CL16 at the slowest. For an APU especially, it matters having super fast memory.

i don't think the 5700g will cut it, because every test for minecraft i look at its barley above 60 fps and that is with a capture card, not with a recording software

Minecraft is a very CPU bound game, and the 5700G is very good when it comes to single thread muscle, only really beaten by the rest of the Ryzen 5000 series. If it's GPU bound somehow, install Optifine, that'll double your FPS. If my laptop with integrated graphics from 2010 can run Minecraft (at least the older versions back when I still used that machine) at 80 FPS 768P, a 5700G can run it at 1080p60 at least, and probably 1440p60 as well, maybe even higher with optifine.

Exactly. I mean, you could swap the CPU to a 5600X and get a GTX 1080 now off eBay and flip it in a year for $200 and buy a 3060ti or 3070, or you can hold out with the APU and get a 3080 in 6 months to a year, especially if you're trying for a 3080 on the Newegg Shuffle and everything.

PSU: an 850w would be ideal for a 3080. Also, just because a brand is trustful doesn't mean the product is trustful. Seasonic has made some pretty bad PSUs, same with EVGA, and they currently have a couple that don't play nice with 30 series GPUs. That PSU IIRC is pretty good, but for a 3080 an 850w is usually a good idea for completeness sake.

MOBO: That board isn't that great. The Tomahawk is better. Plus, OP doesn't need the advantages of X570, so why add a chipset fan for nothing?

Case: Used cases can be a nightmare for new builders since they usually don't have any hardware or anything to be able to build with. Most parts in the computers I build are used, but the case is the one area I don't recommend buying used, and a good case for a first time builder is almost always the way to go. I get going with a sub-$60 case if you're really trying to save some money or trying to get under budget, but a nice case leads you to not hate your computer after an upgrade or two (ask me how I know)

It's more I'm not against it. I recommend stuff from WD and Samsung because they perform pretty well and their customer service is pretty good, but I recognize there are other SSD manufacturers that make some pretty good products. I just don't care enough about SSDs to know the model numbers and everything off the top of my head.

Actually, scratch that, I just googled the drive. It's a DRAMless drive, and for an OS that's not a good idea to run. It'll outperform a hard drive, but other, M.2s, not so much.

If you have to include peripherals in it, You can't fit GPU in this price range. But 5700G system will be absolutely capable of running those games no problem.

Great Build for the price, especially with that newegg bundle. If you wanted more A-RGB, the Arctic RGB Fans are only a few bucks more and very good too.

And the Vetroo V5 from Amazon is also a nice RGB Cooler for 30$.

But great list!
