Posted October 7, 2021 I'm not really into the water cooling scene, I've always kept with basic fan coolers. I figured I should probably get a non stock cooler, even though the one I have right now isn't bad. I was just wondering what would be the best CPU fan for my 3700x (in your opinion) for $100 or less. CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2080 SUPER Gaming OC RAM: 32GB 3200mHz Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO Display: Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz 27" (2560p x 1440p) NVIDIA G-SYNC IPS MOBO: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK STORAGE: 120GB SSD boot drive, 10tb USB 3.0 Seagate game drive PSU: 650w Corsair CX CASE: NZXT H500i
 Posted October 7, 2021 Best for $100 or less? Noctua NH-D15S Chromax, assuming you can fit it in your case. https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NH-D15S-chromax-Black-Premium-Dual-Tower/dp/B08HM1T6RL/
 Posted October 7, 2021 If you can't fit a larger cooler in your case, you also have the Scythe Fuma 2 as an option. It looks super beefy, but it's engineered in such a way that it actually can fit in pretty small cases and offers RAM clearance thanks to its slim fan. https://www.amazon.com/Original-Design-Towers-Cooler-SCFM-2000/dp/B07QMK5R45/
 The NH-D15 have been suggested. An alternative to that is the Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro if you have room for them. Check dimensions!!! If you don't have the space then the non-pro Dark Rock 4 is very good for a silent build (but still check dimensions!). If it is worth shelling out the dough.. that's for you to decide but the stock will perform adequately.
