BSOD: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED nvlddmkm.sys

https://imgur.com/1AkmuIL

Could someone help me understand what this bluescreen is? Ive already done microsoft memory tester, everything there checks out.

This is a fresh install, also ran sfc /scannow - it found some corrupted files and repaired them.

From my understanding this is a nvidia bluescreen? Im running a rtx 3060ti with latest studio drivers, wich is also freshly installed.

Sounds like the drivers are corrupted. Time to use DDU and install a clean pack downloaded from Nvidia's driver page.

Let's just rule it out as usually these BSODs are related to bad/corrupted drivers, especially since the BSOD ruled out the problem residing in nvlddmkm.sys.

I think i know whats going on here. I had an undervolt profile on my MSI afterburner that was on my secondary drive. And i installed msi afterburner on the same location. And it applied the undervolt. Ill reset msi to default and see if the issue reaccures.

Why - may I ask - are you using studio (work-based) drivers on a 3060 ti (non work-based) card?

EDIT:

As far as I'm aware, studio drivers are for Quadro level cards.

Can I realistically call myself a gamer, if I only play ONE, twenty year old game...?

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

Because shadowplay wont work with faceit anticheat (csgo) with geforce drivers.
