I bought a used z170 gaming pro MB and 6600k cpu

new parts=3060, 16gb ram 2666mhz ddr4, hdd 1tb and wifi usb adapter, 750w evga psu

 

I have added everything, all new parts are working and motherboard has lights on it but when I plug hdmi into gpu or motherboard I get no signal, I tried moving gpu to other pcie but still no signal, trouble shooted the ram, gpu, hdmi slots, gpu slot and ram slots, still no signal. Is the cpu dead? or motherboard even though it has some lights on it?

my psu's cables were tested before on a new motherboard and cpu and hdmi cable was fine as well

have you tried motherboard hdmi without the gpu installed?

Yes otherwise the integrated gpu will not be active.
