hey guys! I just got a new computer and its crashing, it will turn on and work for around 15 min. before the screen just goes completely green. I don't know what's wrong. Any suggestions?

I really want to play games, but I cant, because it keeps on crashing.

I think specs of your machine (ie what components you use) could be useful here.

Current system. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X; MoBo: Gigabyte X570S Aorus Master; RAM: 2x Crucial Ballistix MAX 2x8 GB (BLM2K8G40C18U4B); GPU: RX 6900 XT Gigabyte Aorus Master; case: Fractal Design Meshify-2; Storage: Samsung 980PRO 1TB NVMe SSD + 2x Samsung 980 1TB NVMe SSD; PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-850; Cooling: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360.

Green screen? Already sounds GPU related. Does it crash when you start a game or even if you leave it idling for 15 minutes?

Easiest thing to do is check your drivers. If you are on newest ones , roll one version back. If you are on older ones , install newest ones . Do all of that using DDU and following it's guidelines.

It could be BIOS related, updating BIOS to newest one is always a good idea.

Check all cables of GPU and if it is properly seated in PCIe slot.

We also need a full system spec , otherwise we have no data to work with.

If it's a brand new pre-built computer, take it back to the store or initiate warranty/support help. If you built it yourself, we're gonna need a LOT more information, such as the EXACT specs of all parts used, whether the green screen showed an error or not (or better, take a picture of your monitor when this happens), whether the green screen shows up after 15 minutes but only when gaming, and any/all recent hardware/software changes you've made to the machine.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Koodo - 75GB Data + Data Rollover for $45/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)
