Battlefield 4 not starting

HI everyone! so bf 4 is not lauching. click on the icon, opens the battlelog. then in battlelog, click on play now, and nothing happens. at all. 

 

Just installed win 8.1 not to long ago, worked when i was on windows 7

 

win 8.1 64 bit

I5-3570K

HD 7770

8 gigs of ram

 

any help would be appericated! I mean, on windows 7, the beta and game was buggy, but at least it ran.

Generally when something has the price of a finished product you expect a finished product. 

 

But whos idea was it to integrate your web browser in the game. why cant they have ingame menus like any other game.

I've bought plenty of things that didn't work, but yeah the web browser thing is stupid.

It will download a plugin you have to install that will allow battlelog to launch the game. Can't launch the game til that's installed.

if its still not working try a another browser like google chrome
