I bought my 3440x1440 display in 2017 and originally had a GTX 970 when I got it. Since then i've upgraded to a 2070, 2080 Super and now a 3090 but a 3080 would be perfect.

You're still not going to get near 165 fps in heavy AAA titles but at least on my panel, Gsync more than makes up for that.

What's your budget?

Out of these cards the 6800 XT would have the most performance while the 3060 TI has stuff like CUDA and Nvenc. 6700 XT is between the other two for performance but lacks Nvenc and CUDA.

The 6700XT is worse than the 6800XT but better than the 3060Ti?

I have a 5700xt and it is generally easy to stay above 100fps in demanding games at high settings, sometimes dropping a few settings to achieve what I want.

Really a 6700xt is going to do great for you. But get the best thing you can afford.

I would recommend water cooling. You're looking at at least $500 to do it and you'll gain next to nothing in performance vs spending 500 more on your GPU.

Okay, not problem but really thing is I have the budget for it, after I've bought the graphics card because the price just is so segnificant so max i can spend on it is $1000 (next price is that $2000). After that I have about $400 I can use for the rest of the shit

How much price difference? A 3060 TI isn't that much slower than a 6700 XT but hass RT, Cuda and Nvenc.

In that case definitely the MSI 3060 Ti. 6700 XT isn't worth the price difference and Gigabyte isn't amazing

Do they also use a custom PCB of the reference PCB with their own cooler strapped on top?
