Discord repeatedly cuts out my microphone

boey

I have an Audio Technica ATR-2500x-USB microphone, and my voice keeps getting cut out on discord. Especially when I make a constant sound, the voice playback bar shows the sound level repeatedly going to zero.

Krisp noise surpression is off, as well as echo cancellation, noise reduction, advanced voice activity etc.

I've also tried to have input sensitivity be automatic and manual, which didn't work (even with the sensitivity slider set to the most sensitive).

When I use windows 10's built in voice recorder/video recorder, it's completely fine.

Seems like Discord is still somehow applying some sort of background noise removal? It is still affecting how others hear me when I speak normally.

Go to Windows control panel > sound > Recording and double click your mic, go to levels and mess with the settings on that to get the right input level. If its already at 100 then sorry

The other option is looking for drivers/software for that mic and installing that.

Sorry I probably edited my post. Refresh plz. Build Specs Below.

Have you tried to reset the settings to normal? Why are you making constant sounds into a voice chat?

The constant sounds amplify the problem, I still get cut out even when speaking normally

I have tried combinations of all the voice settings, all of them don't work

Are you able to test other microphones? Did you try plugging your mic into a different USB port?
