i need help understanding the compatability issues for my first build and understanding if the pc would do what id like it to do

jagabonjee

Budget (including currency): 1500 euro

Country: latvia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: The witcher, Apex legends, Doom, 3d modeling and 2d art

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GDnGp2

id at least like it to run most games at 720p and after watching linus videos for quite a bit i don't know if this pc would do the job. Also while picking the parts, i couldn't understand what the compatibility issues ''The case USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port will not be usable'' and ''two SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports are disabled'' meant and so i came here to get help. id like to know if this pc can at least run games at 720p and 60fps and to understand what parts to change to fix the compatibility issues. Any kind of help will be appreciated

I'd recommend getting a 5600x instead of a 3700x unless your streaming and just get a different motherboard or case that should hopefully fix the incompatibly issues

You know USB C? The new small USB connector, which you can't plug in the wrong way?
Well, your case has an USB C connector, but your motherboard doesn't have a connector for that, so if you plug in your phone into your cases USB C, it won't work.

I bought my new RTX 2070 last year for 500 USD and now you pay 625 USD for a GTX 1660 super.

But I guess, there is no other way if you want it right now, unless you look for a used one.

That is a nice case and you might want to add some fans later. if you need to free up some money there are cheaper airflow cases available. Thanks to Tech Jesus we are actually spoilt for choice on airflow cases in 2021

Also
From my experience, you don´t need a Driver for the 970 Evo plus
It just runs of windows, and I could at least surpass the advertised read/write numbers

Even your 500usd were overpriced

I don't understand your comment, I meant overpriced compared to its value.

But I'm not so sure now,

I feel like 2 years ago, I bought a used 2070 for 440usd which I sold this year for 490usd.

This made me react to your 500 last year

I'm willing to swim against the current.
