Lian-li Uni fans not screwing in

I've been at this for a solid hour now, trying to screw in these fans. I've tried by hand, and the screw would not budge. Then, I grabbed a drill, but a philips head on it - the drill only managed to get it halfway before it got stuck and absolutely fucked the screw head, so now I need to get said screw with a claw hammer. 

 

Is there ANY way I can get these damn fans screwed onto my case without messing up either the screws, case or fans?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

Mobo: Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite V2

GPU: XFX Radeon RX 6800 SWFT 319

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO (4x8 3200MHz)

Storage: Patriot P300 128GB, XPG SPECTRIX S40G 1TB, WD HDD 1TB

Cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i RGB ELITE

PSU: Corsair RMx 750W 80 Plus Gold

Case: Corsair 4000D

 

Monitor: AOC Q27G2S

Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM

Mouse: Roccat Burst Pro

Headphones: Roccat ELO 7.1 USB

Microphone: Roccat Torch

Cross threading?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
