I would like to try out Linux again. Which VM software should I use?

Solved by Eigenvektor,
You could use VirtualBox, free and simple to use. For home use it makes little difference which one you use and performance differences are negligible. As far as I can see the CPU supports hardware virtualization support (VT-d and VT-x), just be sure to enable it in BIOS in case it's disabled by default.
