Sony PS3 Wont Boot

I'm sorry to say, but your PS3 might be dead. It has the infamous YLOD: Yellow Light of Death.

It happens when a PS3 is overheated usually. Maybe your PS3 is full of dust after long time no use. The thermal paste could have been dried up, it could be several reasons.

Usually it's the CPU that's not functioning as it should. Getting it repaired these days is not worth it, just get another secondhand PS3. You can get them for under $50 if you look around.
