Only the RTX 2000 series and upward support the HDMI Game Mode VRR protocol necessary for G-Sync over HDMI to work.

Im using hdmi 2.1 and I have a gtx 1070 and gsync is not showing up in the control panel at all. which is weird because it showed up on a terrible hdmi cable that was plugged into a 1080p monitor that wasnt even gsync. How do I fix this?

Like @Glenwing said you need a newer GPU to make LG's VRR work on TV's.

 

Had the same thing when i used my 1080Ti with my C9. As soon as i got my 3080 the VRR option showed up.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
