Hi Everyone 

 

i am looking at upgrading my lapotp ram i currently have 8gb of ram and would like to upgrade to 16gb of ram i am not sure which brands of ram sticks  are compatible with my laptop. as i purchased it directly form Lenov

 

if anyone can help me  find a compatible ram upgrade with my current  ram stick  it would be great i have attached a photo of my current ram stick as it is only has one stick of ram installed.

Faster memory will also work but it'll just run at the laptop's specified speed so no performance loss so you shouldn't pay extra for faster RAM. 2400 will also work and although it's a tad bit slower, Intel's not affected by memory speed as much as AMD. Also, make sure to buy a rank 8 module since rank 16 modules will decrease performance by about 10-15%.
