What is a good budget cpu for rocket league and gaming in general?

I have most of my other pc parts

750ti gpu

corsair cv450 psu

2x 4gb patriot ddr4 sticks 2600 mghz

500gb ssd

what would be a good cpu to go with these? I am looking for one that costs 200 or less (aud) preferably new and preferably ryzen.

Well in general I would say the i3 10100f is a decent deal but if you had to go ryzen you could get the 3200g for less than 200. Personally I would go with the i3 as its cheaper and is going to perform better than the 3200g especially taking into account your ram speed. Honestly ryzen cpus are pretty overpriced right now so honestly Intel has some killer deals in comparison.

CPU and motherboard? Because new would take you over your budget with those two combined.

A used Ryzen 5 2600, with a cheap B450 motherboard, would go a long way. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/xn32Nq

It's hard to get a good CPU under the $100 price point, but if you manage to get a 2nd gen Ryzen 5 or newer, you'll have some pretty decent room to upgrade, especially with a board that has a decent VRM, like this.

Intel has a bit of a similar problem on pcpartpicker, with lack of compelling options that are really cheap.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
