I was going to assume that but things get real dumb real fast when I assume stuff.

Your pictures of the fan is about 50 pixels big so I can't really see what's going on, but the splitter I linked works with *most* graphics cards to adapt standard PC case and heat sink fans to them.

Got it, I shall give a try on replacing with a single fan first, does fans amp matter that much even if it goes from 0.3amp to 0.4 or even 0.5?

Most case fans draw around .3 to .5 amps, if your current fans are in the same range they'll be fine.
