My Psu died while I was playing. Will my other components survive?

Mango Milkshake

So I was just playing then suddenly I heard a loud pop then my pc shut off instantly and then I smelled smoke. I instantly pulled my pc’s power cable. I realized that the smoke i was smelling was from my psu so it’s pretty obvious it literally just died. Will my other parts survive tho. I’m kinda scared rn. I don’t have another psu to test on to see if my pc would still work or if my psu literally just decided to kill the rest of my pc components.

only way to tell is to get a new one and test. I had a similar thing happen to my wifes old PSU, a CoolerMaster Masterwatt unit. Put in a spare 450w in and everything worked just fine.

PSU is connected to almost everything

so it's hard to say if it brought anything with it

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

AC and DC sides are isolated from one another.  So if it was an explosion on the primary side, you're 99% fine.  If it was an explosion on the secondary side, you're 99% screwed.  So nobody can say how your PC is because we don't know how your PSU failed.
