There’s old school.  Instead of worrying about full coverage blocks do a hybrid.  Makes blocks easy to find.  Sometimes with non reference boards it’s the only way.  Works just as well in reference ones too. Tends to be not especially pretty. Also the whole single slot thing is generally gone.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

The thing is for a full coverage block to be findable someone has to make one.  There is generally a block that will fit on any reference card.  Used to be one reason people actually went looking for blower coolers sometimes.  They wanted a reference card so they could put a full coverage block on it.  If a full coverage block is built for a non reference board it will fit only that one model.  Some less popular non reference cards never had a block made for them.  I suspect that sales volume is not a good measure for modern stuff with mining happening.  There’s going to be a lot of high end boards that never get water cooled because they’re in mining farms. So a board may sell like hot cakes but percentage of people that watercool it is unaturally low. In your case according to @Skiiwee29there are at least two, so it’s not an issue.
