Bran New Monitor, Black line down screen can I fix it or na?

There are some things you can try like massaging the screen near the top or bottom of the line, however I'm thinking you better start looking up your retailers return policy.

Just bought Two AOC 24 inch curved monitors and one of them is working fine, but the other has a decent sized black line running down the display is this dead pixels or can it be fixed? I have already tried all the regular things such as turning it off and back on again, switching the display port cable (twice), and updating my drivers, but no dice still have a black line down the screen any advice is appreciated thanks.

Bought it off amazon so returning it should be easy enough. thanks for the help.
