Device names have a number in front of them?

Is there a way to get rid of the numbers in front of the device name? I changed my setup around a few times and had to reconnect my devices in multiple ports, but everytime i connect to a new port, it adds another number in front of the device name.

I've had sound device names get enumerated like that when reinstalling/updating amd drivers, as far as im aware this is driver specific and nothing really can be done other than renaming them constantly. Hopefully im wrong.

Aww rip. I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them again but its still at 5 unfortunately. only solution i know would work is an OS reinstall

You can use GhostBuster to remove known but not connected devices, might get rid of those or not.

Another option is to "show hidden devices" in device manager and you might see the other copies and be able to delete them manually.
