Banned from chatting in the Twitch Chat

Not sure where else to put this but I'd like to make an appeal to the Twitch mods. During the WAN Show on Friday April 4 2014 I was banned for seemingly no reason. Linus and Slick were talking about Twitch and why they haven't added Chromecast support yet and all I did was link to this app, next thing I know I'm banned. If putting links in the chat is a bannable offence, you might as well turn them off completely to avoid the potential confusion. I remember hearing that bans won't be lifted but it's not like I spammed ASCII dicks or bitly links to porn. All I'm asking is to hear me out and consider lifting the ban.

Someone made a post similar, just have a talk with a site mod and see if they can do anything about it.

Most other streamers if they don't want links in the chat, it's stated somewhere on the channel page, they have a bot issue timeouts instead of permabans or links are disabled entirely.

I too mostly ignore the chat but occasionally I may have something to contribute to the discussion.

People spam strawpoll links like 24/7 and they don't get in trouble
