ASUS B350-plus with dual channel 32GB possible?

Hey,

 

I need some help. I just startet at building a Computer and have an ASUS B350 plus I know its not the best, but it will work for me. But I need your help, I want to use all 64GB of RAM and just found 2x32gb Sticks. Can I use them in Dual Channel or do I need 4x16GB?

 

Because I cant find anywhere something about using the board in Dual Channel 64GB.

Yea cause im doing lot of Video editing and CAD

If that's the case then yeah you can, both of them actually, whether the 2x32gb or 4x16gb

And b350 is "dead" platform you better get b450 because ot will help you in the long run if you were decided to upgrade to 3000, 4000, and even 5000 Series

And the price difference is little to nothing

Okay thank you a lot. Yeah I know its not the best anymore but I will not upgrade it further.  Cause im trying to do a really cheap build and in some years buy a exspensive build.

What cpu do you have? Ryzen 1000 and 2000 DO NOT LIKE 4 STICKS. They are a pain to get working correctly at their rated speeds.

Dont have it yet but was going for a Ryzen 2700x. Okay thats good to know.

If you are still building a pc why bother using this board? No point in buying older hardware new when newer stuff is better for the money.

Cause Im already bought it over eBay and dont want to buy a Second Mainboard. Wanna try a cheap as possible build cause im just learning and when I destroy something its not that Bad. I know the RAM ist exspensive but I found some really good offers.
