is it posible for a gpu to use normal ram

so intgrated igpu uses ram right, but discreate uses its own so can a discreet also use the normal ram when needed?

no.  It's too slow, and way too "far away" from the GPU, as far as timings are concerned.

Yea basically all gpus do this already. Problem is system ram is so much slower than vram is almost unusable performance wise.

Technically if a GPU goes beyond its vram amount it will use your system ram, but really you don't want that at all. Vram is within centimeters of the gpu which is ideal. If it had to use your system ram, you'd get a performance hit, since it's much slower to access your system ram than the onboard vram. Also your system ram which is likely ddr4 is slower speeds than the gpus.
