Upgrading?

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Heavy Gaming

Other details. im saying it could be an upgrade because i already have a pc and think i can move some old parts to the "newer" one im slowly becoming tired of entry level parts (not saying they are bad but i want more power)

another detail is that i wont be streaming at all.

Thermaltake versa H17

Ryzen 5 2600

Asus B450M-A

16gb 3200Mhz Memory

radeon RX 480

Thermaltake Litepower 650W

WD black 500gb

I'd just keep running what you have, and upgrade in a year or so to a DDR5 based system.

I mean, we know what it is

2x bandwidth, built in ecc, jdec will be about where ddr4 tops out, will cost a kidney for a 2x8gb kit

Even if it's not, the CPUs out will be better, and GPU pricing will be lower. I don't really see the point in upgrading the CPU and leaving a pretty old GPU in there

Eh, I mean it'll be more expensive but in the grand scheme of a build it's not that much.

A single sampling really doesn't paint the whole picture.

It's also not released. Pricing can change.
