Ryzen 3 1200 OC

hisham999

So I tried to overclock my Ryzen 3 1200

( brand new)  and I just typed in 39 at the CPU clock thing and now in task manager it shows base clock as 3.89gz. I'm using the stock cooler.

I did not change anything ( voltage, ),

Neither do I know how to!

I played warzone for about 40mins, the max CPU temp was 68°c ( core temp app)

Computer seems to have no issues of crashing or re booting.

I've attached images below...

Will this damage my components in anyway?

Should I change something in the bios...?

Why the fuck are you buying this bad value new? Holy shit the audacity of people nowadays.

Anyway, thats very typical of AMD CPU even under stock load, And its very common to see 4100 or 4015mhz on 1200 with stock cooler at 1.32-1.4V. You can go even further with a good board, but considering that A320 doesnt officially support OC, it probably have a VRM thatll shit the bed.

I had an old one that was damaged so I got warranty replaced with a new one yesterday lol, I didn't buy!

Also I know it's an a320 Mobo but the chipset is 350 ( even on cpu z and the website the chipset is 350) , that's why I tried OC!

Anyway so I guess I'll just keep it at these settings? Will it mess up my other components after a while?

Ps : I'm from India and the tax is fucking insane here, regardless of how old a product is! even now most of us can't afford anything remotely good.
