First time builder, needing help on compatibility! please help!!!

Hello! I'm just about to take the leap from my crappy old Xbox 360 to a what I feel is a "high end" gaming computer.

To save money i have decided to build the PC instead of getting it pre constructed by companies such as IronSide.com but am having issues deciding on the right parts for me, i have a budget of around $1500 and really cant afford any more due to my silly job at McDonalds! I want the PC to be powerful enough to run most high end games such as BF4 and TitanFall on high setting without sacrificing FPS as well as playing games such as Feed The Beast, Minecraft, Rust and DayZ very fluently with no drops in Fps. One of my main goals with this build is to keep it looking good so my friends can kneel down beneath it when they see it standing proud on my $20 desk, so cable management is a must, hence the modular power supply.

These are the parts i have chosen so far:

-Corsair obsidian 750D case

-Samsung 840 Evo series 120GB SSD

-EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Dual SC 2GB Graphics card

-Corsair CX-750 Modular 80+ Bronze Power Supply

-Corsair Vengeance Pro CMY8GX3M2A2133C11R 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 RAM

-Intel Core i5 4670k CPU

-Western Digital WD Green 2TB WD20EZRX Hard drive

- Asus Z87-C Motherboard

I plan on using the stock heat sink that comes with the Intel Core i5 4670k CPU for the time being until i get some extra cash together to buy either a Corsair H100i or a custom water loop. Is there anything in this build that will bottle neck the system? and is there any place i could save money without sacrificing value? oh and i almost forgot, i want to keep the build Intel and GeForce based so no Amd! Thanks!

You could save on your power supply, a single GPU configuration doesn't need 750Watts.

Everything is compatible yes

Everything looks fine. You can cut back on the PSU a bit (500/600w is fine for that build). Also you can get cheaper RAM too; it's all basically the same stuff unless you plan to overclock it for whatever reason (mainly just beating benchmark records, but you wouldn't do that with this system anyway.)

The rest seems fine and looks like a nice build.

You'd only start running into a bottleneck if you started sticking a crappy pentium in there or something.

I would not advise using the stock heatsink with your CPU for very long, just pick up a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo, it is good for about 80% of peoples overclocks. (unless you feel as though you need the H100i to get a high OC with your chip, if this is the case, feel free to carry on with your plan)

The other thing that I would recommend changing is RAM. The timings on the kit you have selected are sub-par timings. 11-11-11 isn't optimal for 2133 speeds. I'd recommend this kit which runs at 9-11-10 timings instead.

Everything else would be what i would select at this price point. The 4670k is the CPU of choice for games, the 770 is the 1080p king (for its price), the 840 Evo is a fantastic SSD, (I use one) and you have a beautiful case.

Enjoy the rig!

The cheapest you can find should be fine :) If you want decent looks, again just get the cheapest one that you like the looks of, you wont really notice much difference between any of them.
