It could use some lighting.

It's a shame there isn't a good blue SSD you could use instead of the 840.

Overall, it looks good.

I'm going to get my hands on a few corsair AF 140MM blue fans . Waiting on white L.E.D lighting but being from Ireland God knows how long i'll be left waiting .I'm also hoping to do a custom paint job on the HDD bays maybe even the SSD .Just want to make sure it all works first

Are you going to just mount the SSD in the HDD cage or are you putting it where you can see it?

Here is the rest of the pictures its up and running at 4.2 GHZ and the 670 Boosts all the way to 1300 mhz :)  . Temps on CPU on load is 67 and temps on GTX 670 is between 69-71 .Its a shame to put the side panel on hope the window panel is in stock soon .

I will add in the finishing touches when i get a few more (paper moneys)

Got a 27 inch AOC passive 3D monitor on sale for 230 .The 3D actually works brilliant on games that support it .

Trine 2 looks EPIC in 3D also Dirt 3 and Crysis 3.

Anyways only built a PC because of Linus&Slick i used consoles up till last year    i had no idea how powerful a PC could be .

This is my first build so go easy on me .

P.S love the forum and all the live streams

Life would not be complete without my dosage of  LinusTech & Tek Syndicate 2 Brilliant channels  :D  :D  :D

Good job, I like how you stuck with the colour scheme. I think cable management could be done a bit better though :).

Looking very good! Nice selections of components & the LED's on both the PSU and CPU fans accent each other quite nicely :D

How are you feeling about the AOC monitor? I thought I might also go with AOC but I didn't think much of them, looking for monitors for a new build. So what do you think about it?

  • 4 months later...

Im abit late posting the last few photo's forgot all about it to be honest .

Quick update :

Finally got a side window for the R4 case ' living in Ireland i am really restricted as to what i can buy .

Got some Blue L.E.D 's for the case too

Also picked up a Asus Xonar Sound Card

Got a cool dragon decal for the front of the case .

PC is running Perfect the last 6 Months have not had one hiccup out of it

My Fav part of the built is the PSU i know its a odd thing to have as a favorite but because silence was the main theme for this build 'its a dream of a PSU .

The fan does not spin at all untill it hits about 40% load (its a corsair gs700 watt ) Playing most games the fan does not turn on at all .

My bro's Ps3 sounds like a hoover compare to this machine haha

I done another build much cheaper used a fx4300 and a gtx 660 cost about 400 euro  really was suprised how well it performs 'i didnt make a build log cause it wasn't that exciting looking .

I have a Mini-ITX HTPC system coming up soon .First thing on my list is a ROG Impact board :-) It may be overpriced but it just looks B E A utifulll. Plan on putting it in the new EVGA Hadron case with the littlw side window . It will look epic in the sitting room :-)

Anyway sorry again about the delay on uploading the last few pictures.
