i5 4670k vs i7 4770k?

Probably hundreds of people have already asked this, but anyway

How big is the gaming performance difference between them? (i5 4670k and i7 4770k)

almost none the only special thing is that the 4770k has hyper threading

Gaming wise right now a few FPS difference however this may change as game devs as starting to use the hyper threaded cores.

There really isn't much of a difference for gaming performance. The 4770K might give you a couple more FPS in some games over the 4670K but it is not worth it for the price. The extra $100 is better spent on a higher end graphics card. The 4770K really only shines above the 4670K in tasks like video editing.

If you plan on doing any sort of editing, i7 all the way. You will need the hyperthreading. If its just a gaming rig, save the money and buy the i5. The i5 is okay for some light editing here and there, but if you plan on doing anything more then just bump up to the i7. You will be so much happier with it.
