Looking for some input with projectors. General advice

Hey guys, a buddy of mine is starting a billiards club. 

 

Its generally pretty dim - just the lights on the pool tables are lit. It doesnt throw onto the walls too awfully bad. 

 

They were looking at getting another larger tv.. in the 100inch range. 

 

I have zero experience with projectors - do you think its something to look into? We may look into some if you guys dont totally shoot the idea down. Thanks for any input!

 

 

 

Edited to show the room. Would be on that wall. This is the building at its brightest. Too bright?

Sure as long as there is a good screen, people won't be running in front of the projector blocking the view too much and you get a good high brightness one (so not a cheapo 400$ generic projector).
