Lost/Stolen Airpods 2.

Find my IPhone shows my Airpods's last location at home, where I last used them in the morning. I put them in my bag, went to work, didn't use them the entire day and when I came home they weren't in my bag.

I believe they were stolen at work.

I want to know, if and when, someone connects them to their phone (IPhone or Android) will the Airpods update the location on find my IPhone?

They're gone. All the person needs to do is hold the button on the back and it will pair to a new account and they'll drop from yours.
