looks is subjective so get what you like :P  but since most cases unless you look for big towers the cost is half of those i dont see them being worth it, but then we have that guy here that wants to buy a used old case for 400$ with new cost being 800.. and there is NOTHING special about it... so yea :P get what you like

I like FT02 better. One of the best ventilation layout for a case. Also, that 90deg rotated motherboard layout will showcase the graphics card cooler/design better and minimize the strain on the pcie connector from heavy graphics card cooler.

Look at that clean layout. ;)

Well the ft04 has GPU support but it looks bad. One thing about the ft02, seems like kinda allot of plastic on top. And one more thing, is it brushed aluminum or powder coated? And it looks like the 5.25 inch bays are brushed?

It's anodized and sandblasted.

Why not get the FT05? Launching soon and its fully aluminium btw:

I'm just basing this from Hardware Canuck's review of the case. The whole front and side panels are powder coated but the 5.25 bays cover are brushed aluminium. The top panel is plastic but the grill is metal. Most case are made of the same materials too.

Owh,I just found out the case has individual fan controls for each of the intake 180mm fans. Cool..

Yeah the fan under the HDD is kinda useless these days, I'd recommend to not plug it in. Also cant understand why you don't like the 90°, shows every perspective of your gpu rather than the back only: http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/7382/dsc2801b.jpg

To sum a few reasons up why you should get the FT02/FT05: Having your IO ports on the top makes life so much easier, option to have the internal usb headers with a converter directly to the back of your motherboard much cleaner look inside, no sacking gpu's, focused airflow thats performing freaking amazing, noise dampeners, no grummets and if you're experienced with managing cables it will look much cleaner than any other case.

Now the fans :P

You have a high & low switch basically the max rpm at high is 1200 and for low its 700 rpm and they each have a sleeved 3pin cable that goes to your motherboard's chassis header. At the low speed, the motherboard controls the fan between 0-700 rpm and high 0-1200rpm. My AP181's arent spinning at idle @lowswitch because 60% isnt enough for those fans to make them spin. They really move lots of air for the noise and they really sound smooth not something like a nf-f12 at max speed against a rad.

About the build quality, well their quality is just amazing, nothing is flimsy and its very well built it's literally like a tank. My NZXT cases really felt extremely cheap & thin compared to my TJ11 although the FT02's build quality is very close to a TJ11's quality.

I don't know. It looked pretty in the pics. I didn't expect it to be so plasticity and I wasn't a seasoned PC er and hadn't seen nice cases and didn't want to pay a lot. And it was only 6 months ago. But yeah now I absolutely hate it. With a passion.

The TJ-11 is a beast of a case, if you are filling it up with drives, cooling (air or water) and other cool stuff yea, its worth it but if you are just installing one drive and one video card it will be overkill. FT02 is smaller with the same cooling idea but since its smaller some cooling options will be limited or constrained. So unless you tell us what you plans are its still an open question.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

Hmm I understand. Now I see what you were saying when we were arguing about 450d and plastic and quality and such. You were right. I think I like the ft02 better than the 05 but not sure. I'll see what it looks like when it's out. I wish I could see the ft02 in person. I live near frozen CPU maby they can show it to me. But I'm not sure if they will open the box if I'm not nesicarily buying it.

Not really sure. But I'm imvisioning a pretty cool WC set up with a 3*180mm rad. But that won't be for a while. For now I'll just have a 290 and my current fx 6300. But it would be cool to WC eventually so the ft02 would be good.
