How to recover data from a phone that has been factory reset?

I have a Redmi Note 4(mido). One day it suddenly froze (while watching ltt video by coincidence😄), and started boot looping on MI screen. I had not installed any custom rom or unlocked the bootloader, so I couldn't even flash twrp and get data back. I had to send it to a repair person who somehow reset the android and got it working, however all my data is erased and I don't have any backup of that data I have switched the phone off from the time I have got it to prevent any data overwriting. Can anyone tell me how can I get my data back? (It would be very helpful If I could do it for free)

Edit:- I also have a laptop (I don't know whether telling this will help)

You cant. If your data is important consider using a data recovery service.

Do you mean a data recovery app or a company like drivesavers?
