PC doesn't start, need help asap

Hi,

So I have an older machine which I got from my brother, who was a little rough with the little one.

 

Every time i cut the computer off the power for a week or so, it won't start, when pluged in again.

 

Normally, I just push in most of the visible cables to see if they are in correctly and then it works. 

Now it doesn't.

I have a green LED on my Mainboard which lights up, but the PC won't start.

Is there no response after pressing the power button? Or do the fan start up and then shut off? 

 

It may be worth checking the power button connector and making sure it is secure.

No response at all.

I tried checking the connector, even unplugged and replugged it.

I even tried starting it with a screwdriver, but I'm still new to all of this ^^'

Are you shorting the correct pins? Should say power switch on the mobo.

I literally don't know what it is.

But it always happens after having it not plugged in for a while.

But this time, it just don't get up again.

It's not dead, at least I guess so.

The LED of the MB is lighting up, so at least that connector isn't dead.

Replugged every power cable.

Still nothing

Anyone able to get into a discord call or anything like that?

Would be a lot of help.

Unplug those other cords and just short the PWR SW pins. I would join a call but I'm currently on call for my job.

It was the Motherboard Battery. The little one. That's all.
