Posted June 13, 2021 My EVGA FTW3 is having extremely random CTD's but so far only in CoD MW and Cyberpunk 2077. I have literally played WoW TBC Classic for dozens of hours straight issueless, i have played countless cod matches already, which makes me think its the new driver tbh. I also have a 5950x in a Gigabyte Master with PBO and everything on Automatic, it has gotten to 140.29Amps/142.22w, the highest single core has gotten to 5001mhz with most hovering the mid 4900's voltage has reached 1.513 maximum as for the 3080FTW3 it has gotten to 324.63W and up to 2010mhz clock maximum, on a 3dmark test it usually hovers around low 1900mhz's And I just passed a full 3dmark stress test with no crash, passed furmark tests without crashing. EDIT: It has a EVGA 850w power supply Is it most likely this is just a driver issue? I have spent near $4000 on this baby with all my upgrades since I got her prebuilt from nzxt bld. Posted June 13, 2021 Author I have also had firefox streams freak out, freeze firefox and crash firefox especially while its on my side monitor while im gaming, but this also happened on my old pc which shares zero components, so it must be firefox's fault. I don't remember having a CTD on cod before, but i may have, cyberpunk i havent played till now. does hardware error actually mean anything? or is that just windows guesstimate, first time i have looked at the reliability thing Edit: I remember now, I had my first CTD after I "limited" PBO to 100mhz, reverted to auto immediately after Edited June 13, 2021 by Daethz System Specs: AMD 5950x PBO-Auto | Noctua DH-15 Black | Gigabyte x570 Master | EVGA 3080FTW3 Ultra | (2x16gb) G.Skill Royal 3600mhz CL18 | Corsair 5000D Airflow (Black) | Samsung 980 Pro 2TB & Firecuda 520 1TB & Crucial MX500 2tb | 850W Corsair RMX | 2 Noctua A14 CPU, 6 Noctua A12x25 Intake, 3x Noctua F12 Top Exhaust, 1x Noctua A12x25 Back Exhaust Monitors: (Main) LG Ultragear 34" 2k Ultrawide 144hz IPS '34GP83A-B' (Side) Acer Predator 27" 2k 144hz TN 'Abmiprz' Peripherals: Corsair K100 OPX | Logitech G502 Lightspeed | Corsair Virtuoso SE | Audioengine A2+
 After that would probably be a clean Windows install if new drivers don't fix it. Btw, ironically, some EVGA psus have significant issues with 3000 gpus, hence i would recommend to replace your psu, at least temporarily. Posted June 13, 2021 Author I might have figured it out. I think its that PSU issue combined with the fact I had switched the EVGA button to that super power mode so it was bypassing the 320w limit getting to like 346w just switched it back, now its using like 20-40 less watts on average. Obviously i need to play a bunch of games to make sure Edit: Ironically I don't see any clock difference really, its still getting the same clocks with less watts it's just idling slightly warmer now because it actually turns off the fans System Specs: AMD 5950x PBO-Auto | Noctua DH-15 Black | Gigabyte x570 Master | EVGA 3080FTW3 Ultra | (2x16gb) G.Skill Royal 3600mhz CL18 | Corsair 5000D Airflow (Black) | Samsung 980 Pro 2TB & Firecuda 520 1TB & Crucial MX500 2tb | 850W Corsair RMX | 2 Noctua A14 CPU, 6 Noctua A12x25 Intake, 3x Noctua F12 Top Exhaust, 1x Noctua A12x25 Back Exhaust Monitors: (Main) LG Ultragear 34" 2k Ultrawide 144hz IPS '34GP83A-B' (Side) Acer Predator 27" 2k 144hz TN 'Abmiprz' Peripherals: Corsair K100 OPX | Logitech G502 Lightspeed | Corsair Virtuoso SE | Audioengine A2+
