5950x Low 3dmark timespy scores

I recently just built a new pc with a rtx 3080 and a ryzen 5950x with 3200mhz gskill memory. The memory is in the correct slots with it running at 3200mhz but still my cpu is posting low at 11000 on timespy. Not the extreme just regular timespy. Im at a loss of what to do or what to change in bios as this is my first ryzen cpu.

That's a 16 core no? Turn off SMT.

Not familiar with the high tier Ryzen CPUs, but I know that 3600MHz RAM is the sweet spot for Ryzen. Do you have XMP or any kind of overclock? Do you have PBO on?

Is pbo 2.0 on?

Try a CPU only bebchmark like cinebench.

 

Don't turn off smt. A lot of things now are optimised for dual thread.

The 7980XE (18c/36t) and anything higher can cause 3DMark to choke with SMT/HT enabled. Worth a shot on a 16c as that's only slightly off on the core count, and disabling/enabling SMT before and after testing takes a couple minutes at most.

PBO is not on, and the only thing I have done with the stock settings is change my memory profile from 2600 to 3200mhz which my memory should be running at.
