I would like to ask if you could help me. I have a pc that been shutdown for 12 time because the electricity is on and off because of the typhoon. I have no choice but to open it every tine the electricity came back because i have a deadline work . The hdd is now dead ive tried to replace it with my other hdd but it really wont open anymore . What should i do??? Help please

Did you have an existing backup of the data? If not, then the only option is to pay up for a data recovery from either your local repair shop or some other trustworthy shot. 

 

If you can't do either of that, you are out of luck unfortunately.

also, what are your specs?

The hard drive won't open i put it in another pc it can't be detected . I have an old i5 1st gen  mother board asus.

did you try different sata power and data cables? If you already tried that, then try using another sata port on your motherboard.
