So I bought a Ryzen 7 5800X on ebay... for $100 under MSRP for a brand new cpu. I don't have it yet, but is this a scam? Should it be this cheap and this much under MSRP for a top-of-the-line processor? Thanks, Stealty

It might be. When you get it, pay really close attention to it, and if you think its fake you should contact ebay (even though they wont do anything.).

no, the description was just a basic one for selling it. no mention of origin or reason for selling

No, im not sure exact address, but it is US because it ships through USPS only. Also comes in 5 days, so cant be that far

This does make me feel a bit better, but why? is there just no demand for them right now, so they cant even be scalped?
