RTX 3080 Ti's selling for more than 3090's???

I'm in the UK and on ebay.co.uk, people are listing RTX 3080 TI's for more than the price of 3090's. Hell, some people have even purchased a couple of them in the last 2 days.

Does the 3080 Ti have some unique features or something that the 3090 does not? 

 

I just can't understand why someone would pay for a 3080 Ti for the same/more money as a 3090 would cost.

People are being silly and probably aren't checking the prices on 3090s before buying 3080 Tis, just assuming they're more. 

 

Hell, I recently sold my RX 6800 to upgrade to a RX 6800 XT and someone bought it for only £50 less than what a new RX 6800 XT was going for and in stock at retailers at the time, which seems ridiculous.
