GPU sag and key cap

I just bought a 6800xt. But the GPU sag was severe so I used my key cap.

Also why are you using 80mm (92mm?) Fan on exhaust, nothing wrong just curious

using 80mm. It should be 60mm but the noise was too annoying. I used to have two 80mm cable tied up there before but the AIO does not allow two to be installed.

 

Yeah, GPU generates a lot of heat. Having a exhaust there helps with thermals.

thanks but my I think my entire PC looks hideous. I hate the red cables. I hate the brown noctua fans.

This is why I like the design of the founders edition cooler. It actually ejects a good amount of the exhaust right out the back of the machine instead of circulating it in the computer. Wish it did a better job with the ram temps though and other manufacturers to adopt a similar design like blowing through the card.

The reference blower style is nice for computers that do not have an exhaust. But I think anyone willing to spend upwards of 500USD has an exhaust fan. Even with this tiny 80mm, the open cooler design is far more efficient than the blower cards.

Sorry, I should have specified 30 series founder edition. Where the front fan blows vertically through the card up to the processor and the back fan acts like a blower out the back. 

Exhaust fans do help remove hot air but it has to make it up to there first.

The key cap was too ugly so I did a different mod. This is still ugly but less of an eyesore than the red key cap.
