Can't play "enhanced CD" on my laptop ? (win 10)

It just doesnt play... i can open it, but there are no tracks? 

 

I dont think there's a copy protection because I was able to play the video clip just fine with VLC - and I see none of the infamous copy protection logos either  - and it does have the "Compact Disc" label which means copy protection of any kind must not be allowed afaik.

 

 

If i try to open "disc" in VLC or "play" in WMP the laptop just hangs until i remove the disc.

PS: yes, I see there's a "begin.exe" but that also just freezes the laptop, btw CD works fine on my Discman but id rather play on PC, the Discman is old and buggy. 

 

 

Edit: it plays this one fine! Same thing, "enhanced". So is the Limp Bizkit CD just fucked?

 

 

 

Edit2: actually, the Dr Dre is the exact opposite, it plays the audio, but not the video - windows sees it as audio track, but doesnt play it, neither does VLC.

 

So how are you supposed to even play those CDs fully?

You might have better luck trying it on a Windows XP machine (or VM).
But it should play both audio and files. It does depend on the CD/DVD-drive if it can tho.

Yeah, thats possible, Im just wondering how it works with the Dre CD, there is no exe or anything, just 5 "audio" tracks , I dont think i ever tried back then, or maybe I just forgot.
