idk if this is the right place but it's kinda worrying me

DrunkTruck

so i re plugged my pc and cleaned up around my setup and stuff, but now every time i come in touch with the back of the case (the side panel, screws, and top) it gives me like this tickle feeling (like electric shock thing but light idk) why is that?

(i just touched my audio interface to connect cables and i think it has something to do with the amplefire(it's very old and not good) because the more i volumed up on the interface the harder it made my finger go numb)

(another edit: when i disconnect the audio interface from the pc it stops, what to do?)

i replugged my entire computer and my audio interface gives me electrical shocks everytime i turn up to monitor volume or turn on monitor output!?!?!, i think it might be related to my old amplefire being fucked but i don't know

Unplug everything, replug it all back carefully and taking your time.  Looking to see what cables are touching the case, any crimps, hard bends, bare wires, etc.

Pics would help, are you using a dial on the amplifier or speakers to turn sound up?

i have an old Yamaha receiver.. i confused the words.. ;-; it's analog as far as i know it's connected by rca to rca to rca to pl coinventors to my audio interface i think the problem is that i shoved all the cables underneith it and now it's doing the problem and i use a dial to turn the volume (edit: i think the rca cables are the ones that are touching each other

Normally a sign of ungrounded PC

Is the wiring of your house old? Did you use an extension cord?

It pose no immediate threat but I recommend you get it looked into

this house is about 40 something years old, i think the wiring is new tho. i think the problem cause is that the rca cables are touchin and it does that but i am not sure

A grounded shouldn't give you that feel in any situations, it's literally meant to avoid that

The PC is plugged directly into the wall?

no it's connected to a 6 inputs thing which is connected to a makeshift two input connector with a makeshift head connected to the wall, i know it sounds bad but i used it for a long time already and it hasn't done that problem (btw the problem stops when i discconect the rca cables that are connected to the audio interface

Try plugging into the wall directly and see if the issue still occurs

Look, I can't help you if you don't try to help yourself, I've no obligations to do this

Move it to test it temporarily, doesn't have to be a permanent setup

Look, either set things up properly or risk damage to your components or at the very worst... a fire.

Not being able to afford a really nice setup isn't an excuse to be unsafe.  Wire this thing up PROPERLY, or get rid of it if the unit it is the issue.
