Which PSU is a better quality?

Corsair RM Series RM650 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Fully Modular Ultra Quiet Power Supply vs Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 Series 750W 80 PLUS GOLD Ultra Quiet Full Modular Power Supply? My system is currently only going to use 470 Watts. The Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 is currently $40 off, making it cheaper than the Corsair RM.

I would recommend getting the corsair RM series as I don't think you will need 750W of power on a system only going to use 470.

Umm both are fine. If you can secure the Thermaltake right now, go ahead. But if you happen to miss it or it is out of stock, the corsair RM is just a tiny bit better quality IMO.

I am able to get both of them currently, however, I have just heard that the RM is of better quality. I wasn't sure if the Thermaltake would be worse in quality and would be a bad decision, despite it's $40 USD off.

Both are great decisions, if you could really use the $40 anywhere else, just get the thermaltake. Both are great, thermaltake is an itty bity step lower, but that is worth like at most $10 less. If you are getting $40 less, it is a steal.

grab whichever is cheaper, in other words, the GF1. They are fairly similar quality wise.

Get GF1. GF1 looks more attractive. The RM can be quieter, but the GF1 isn't noisy either.
