Slow IDM Download Speeds

Hi, so i am downloading a 32 GB of Files and only getting around 1.6 MB/sec, my Wi-Fi is a 40 Mbps Fiber Optic Wi-Fi, it should do around 5 MB/sec, i tried configuring IDM to download at the max speed. Maybe server issues?

Servers (can) have a limit on amount of chunks, concurrent connections and just plain bandwidth.

So it might be the server, we wont know without waay more info. 😉

 

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Can you use ethernet to compare the speed to WiFi?
