Windows not working properly

Go to solution Solved by aDoomGuy,

I suspect that something went wrong somewhere in the update process... You can attempt to reinstall the OS from a clean state or perform the steps below

Search Start menu for cmd and choose run as administrator. In the window run this command and reboot your PC.

chkdsk c: /r /f

When your PC starts up again it will scan your C volume and fix it if it needs to. When back into the Windows desktop open CMD as before and this time run this command.

sfc /scannow

This will scan your critical system files for corruption and fix them if necesarry. Make sure you are connected to the internet. Reboot PC if something was fixed.

If nothing was fixed or after you rebooted the PC open cmd once more as before and run these commands.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanHealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Reboot the PC and see if things improved.

I had recently updated my PC to Windows 10 20H2
But since then
The PC is taking unusually long boot times and it shows a black screen after booting for sometime and then finally I get to see the desktop
I tried driver updates and all but they just dont seem to work
I have to restart my PC 2-3 times to get a normal 15-20 sec boot time
Any solutions?
Please let me know
Thank you

chipset drivers should be on your mobos manufacturer site.

Its up-to-date
I had booted the same driver for my chipset in 2019 for the PC

No new drivers or chipset updates yet
