Is the prototype 2 PC port still godawful?

I've been wanting to play prototype 2 again since I played it a long time ago and I'm getting back into or revisiting some old games that I played but I don't have an xbox, so I was wanting to play it on PC. I've heard all over the place though that the PC port is riddled with a bunch of garbage and not worth it. The reason I'm asking this is because a lot of those posts are from 2012-2016 and I didn't know if it had either been fixed or things had changed to the point where it's not garbage anymore. Is it still?

They never really patched anything. The port is playable.

No it's perfectly playable. Buggy sure but playable.

It's worth pennies so don't overpay.

I play it way back in 2012 and it was fine. 
I never encounter any game breaking or major bug. Just some graphical glitches.

Eh that's fine, the game's graphics are pretty dated anyways. Thank you!
